A MANAGER'S LIFE

A day in the life of Alexia Prevedello, Doc Control Manager in AUS.

A Typical Day

My day involves a lot of hard work and a keen eye for detail. I start the day as many do, by reviewing all my emails to ensure I’m aware of what needs to be done. As document controller, I have the responsibility of maintaining and updating all group documents. This means that any changes come through me. Some are more urgent than others and can keep an aircraft grounded if not completed. I prioritise to complete these first so HEVILIFT can run smoothly.

“I love what I do, knowing that my job contributes to the overall
running of the business keeps me going.”

Everyday is a new day, with its own challenges. Many days I find myself flat out juggling my document control alongside tendering some urgent documents. The sporadic nature of my work is something which very much keeps me on my toes and prevents any boredom that’s for sure! All the hard work is definitely worth it when being called into the Managing Director’s office to be commended on my work. HEVILIFT definitely appreciates that everyone works together to keep the business going and everyone is given the encourangement to know their work is important.

Time to Unwind

One of the many benefits of the Corporate office is how multi-cultrual the staff is. We often have food brought in from all over the world. I’m a big fan of the Italian goodies! I also enjoy getting out of the office for a walk at lunch. It’s great to clear my head

My fondest memory during my time at HEVILIFT has to have been when I had the ability to take my family on a trip to Moranbah, Queensland on board HEVILIFT’s ATR 72. There’s not many businesses where that’s possible!
